At Times, Frames Speak Better Than Words In Photography

Photographs are all stories and photographers storytellers. Wanting to speak a little more, more than what you really see.

As Destin Sparks once said, “Photography is the story I fail to put into words.” That is the beauty of photography, it captures the unsaid emotions, untold stories and beautiful memories. People all over the world are able to view such amazing talent on social media platforms like Instagram and Facebook. Even these brilliant people are getting their deserving recognition too. Let more talent be out there for us to watch, or let us search and find our own talent to take it to the next level. Today we bring you the work of some amazing photography and the stories captured through lenses.

The Navinvatsa magic

As India is full of diverse cultures, geography, and lifestyles, a photographer can never ignore to capture them at their zenith. Women carrying loads on their heads and walking over the flooded river, children trying to reach the other side in the flood, dogs in the street, a mother and her baby … anything can be photographed. But the way Navin Kumar clicks with the perfect angle and focus is mesmerizing. For him, the want for storytelling helps him decide on ‘what to be shot’. At Muzaffarpur, on a foggy day, he clicked a poetic photo where there were 3 layers in a single photo. First is the boat and 2 travelers; the Second is the fog and the third is the land and its trees. Instagram helps all people to view such amazing photos. As it is said every person has a story to tell, and every photo he takes has a better story to unleash. Navin also works for National Geographic Channel.

The journey of Jayanta Roy

Rain, fog, lightning, floods, winter snow, ice-covered mountains, sunny morning. The beauty of nature is inevitable. A single second never comes again in the timeline. The best thing to enjoy it multiple times is by capturing it. Jayanta brings into light such irresistible moments forever. He has an attractive sense of light and shadows that his portraits of old aged people stand brilliant. Mostly he takes black and white pictures. The emotion given out is overwhelming. Jayanta from Calcutta also does sales from his archival collections.

The Shivya impact

Shivya Nath is a writer, photographer, and storyteller, who wants to stand for a cause. She posts beautiful pictures of wild fora and fauna and gives different perspectives on understanding the conservation of these species. Her photographs have been published at National Geography, BBC, WashPost, etc. She brings in, the threats faced by the animal species and gives the viewer a beautiful picture of the same so that we understand the need to protect them. Yes, nature is worth preserving. Who doesn’t like cycling in the warm twilight near the paddy fields or having a hot tea near the balcony sun-kissed?  Shivya is the kind of person who blends self-love with nature love. She has traveled to South Africa, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Bhutan, etc, and has authored the best-seller ‘The Shooting Star- A Girl, a Backpack and the World’. Shivya has also inspired many, speaking at the Women’s Forum Programme conducted by the Economic Times in 2020.

Neelima nails it

Yet another conservation photographer is Neelima Vallangi who captures fascinating nature scenes with her camera. The weight of water: The human cost of the climate crisis is a documentary directed by this amazing filmmaker.  She has worked with DW, Guardian, Al Jazeera, BBC, National Geography Channel, etc. She has traveled across India learning and unlearning more about nature and people. Neelima takes up random routes and takes the most ignored moment and turns out to be the best photograph ever, besides Nature scenes, she also takes up art and culture in which India is surplus. Kathakali, Theyyam photography that she captured looks really admirable.

Photography

Every emotion has a beauty in itself. The pain brings the inner strength and laughter nurtures the positivity. All feelings are innately exquisite. But hardly we analyse it that way. Photographs are not mere images but moments to cherish or a pain to be pinned. The creativity inside and the passion that pushes does make the captured image so fascinating and vibrant. Here are some amazing photographers and their kind of visions.

Nischay Bharati Jain (Meinbhiphotographer)

What would it be like traveling across India and celebrating every beautiful view? Nischay Bharati Jain has made his life flamboyant by doing exactly the same. Clicked from Kashmir to Kerala, his aerial photos are filled with the satisfaction of doing what you truly love. He believes that in the end, you only regret the roads you didn’t take. That’s why he travels to see different lands and their people. Never for the sake of it, but to dissolve into its beauty. The mountains or beaches, which are your favorites?

Navaneeth Unnikrishnan (navaneeth_unnikrishnan)

“….And I took the road less traveled by” comes from Robert Frost’s poem The Road Not Taken. Navaneeth  Unnikrishnan has taken different roads to see its geography and get dissolved in it. He has taken many photographs and video reels that have captured the charm of those places. In the starlit night sky of Spiti Valley or the entangled riverways, nature is always that pretty girl who wants to be clicked at once. Navaneeth is in love with it. His reels explain that no one can ever resist nature’s mysteries of beauty.

Sages, praying women, models, animals everything is blended in adorable pictures. He brings portraits of men and women posing in different places across the countries. Beauty lies in his perspectives of seeing things. ‘titled_tripod_moments’ is a fascinating Instagram page by Chandan to deliver such unique clicks.

These pieces of pictures become windows to layers of recollections, and for others, they become a moment of wonder, calm and peace. Photography is truly an intelligent and beautiful work! The photographer sees in the scenery or object which the others fail to recognize or notice. Capturing A Thousand Extraordinary Moments Through Lens

“Photographs are a way of imprisoning reality, one can’t possess reality but one can possess images.” We bring you some amazing captures.

Published

Photography

Recently, photography has been accepted by the gatekeepers of high culture as an exquisite art form. It has been hailed as a portrayal of bespoke emotions and in-depth admiration of humanity and nature. There are various genres ranging from portraits, nature photography, risqué boudoir photography or even selfies. The spectrum at which this art form operates is impeccable.

As critically acclaimed American writer Susan Sontag says, “Photographs are a way of imprisoning reality, one can’t possess reality but one can possess images. The painter constructs, the photographer discloses.” These artists do exactly that with their works. It is only natural that proficients of the form be appreciated and known. In India, there are some budding photographers who have caught our attention, here at the Talented Indian.

Subham Shome

Subham Shome, a photographer that captures nature’s many marvels, is an extremely talented photographer. His works are awe-inspiring and are meant to open our eyes to the glamorous enormity of the planet we call home. From picturesque night skies and waterfalls, his art leaves us astounded.

Nurboo Tashee

Nurboo Tashee works with culture as his muse. He is a solo traveller and loves to speak of his travels through his camera. He is currently in Leh, Ladakh. He doesn’t just focus on the scenery of the places he travels, like Sikkim, but also, the people there. In their most comfortable elements. From serene monks to innocently gleeful children, his shots tell us stories of a traveller with a lot on his mind.

Pranay Das

For the photographer Pranay Das, people are his subject and armed with his lens he’s ready to dissect the unthinkable emotions of the human mind. His work focuses on ordinary people, in stills of their ordinary routines, but with an extraordinary power of feeling. He wants to portray the angst of the common, raising it to the panache of the brilliant. Looking at his pictures, the viewer feels as though Pranay has had a deep conversation with the subject and has now decided to show the person to us, but hide the innermost circles, almost tempting us in a way as though it is forbidden knowledge.
