‘Vacancy’ is a short film on the YouTube channel ‘Pocket Films’ that showcases the boundless efforts we take to secure our daily means. The movie, directed and written by Anurag Bhupen Worlikar, received a Special Mention at the Prahar International Short Film Festival and was officially selected for screening at the Baliraja National Short Film Festival at Pune. What starts off as a seemingly usual job interview, takes an amusing turn as the interviewer begins questioning the candidate. The film’s focus is on the interview candidate, Durgesh Kumar, who arrives for a job interview full of hope and aspirations. In the beginning of the interview, he seems nervous and a bit unsure. However, as the interview progresses he relaxes into a much more confident and assured demeanor.
