Sunny Hindustani

India is a developing nation with enormous economic variations, from slums and small huts to bungalows and mansions, India envelops them all. By efficiently spreading awareness and information media has managed to hunt talent from every nook and corner of our vast nation. Indian Idol found a true gem in Sunny Hindustani, the winner of season 11.

The 21-year-old Sunny from Bhatinda descends from a very humble background; he is a shoe-shiner and his mother sells air balloons to make ends meet. Harshly struck by poverty, his mother often borrowed rice and serials from people to fill their belly. Struck by his unfortunate conditions, Sunny was determined to do something to free himself and his mother from the shackles of poverty. He went to audition as a singer in Indian Idol season 11 where he revealed that he has a great love for music and his only source of learning singing was his mobile on which he played songs and sang along. With no professional training and support, Sunny emerged as a phenomenal singer and left the judges awestruck. He received a standing ovation by all three judges who were amazed by this young boy’s exceptional talent.

Creating magic since his audition, Sunny has won millions of hearts throughout his Indian Idol journey. During his auditions, Vishal Dadlani embraced him with a hug and expressed his disbelief over his singing talent. He received wide gained recognition when Anand Mahindra took to Twitter to express his heartfelt praises for Sunny. Sunny’s story is an inspiration to India’s youth, the strength and determination he showcased, defying all economic barriers to prove himself and fend for his family is undeniably praiseworthy.

Truly, one of the most talented singers on Indian Idol, Sunny lifts the final trophy of Indian Idol. We wish him all the very best for his future. We also hope that more and more talented individuals get a chance to prove themselves, to show the world what they’re capable of, and, that nothing can stop them.

We wish all the other finalists a very successful life ahead. Lets take a look at the incredible journey of Sunny.

Wrong Number

Wrong Number is a tickling comical romance with chaos, confusion and barrel of laughs directed by Sumit Kumar. Season 1 of the web series celebrated great success and with more belly laughs the season 2 is released.

Let’s catch up with the season 1 and recall where we left!

Teenage love is obsessive right, something that cannot be forgotten easily and surely it’s hard enough letting it go. The story begins with Khushi, an MBBS student, who in hopeless memories of her school time boyfriend Rajat, texts him as a daily ritual of her life in hope of mending things with him. Adding to the humor is the unexpected twist; the number that belonged to his ex-boyfriend is now assigned to an engineering student Karan. Karan receives all the messages intended for Rajat and shares the obvious confusion with his roommate who suggests him of taking the disguise of Rajat and talking to Khushi. The situation is certainly funny and it only gets funnier. And while you’re laughing out loud at these hilarious incidents don’t be blinded to notice the building romantic elements of the plot.

Everything is goes well they bond and talk creating a realistic mirage for Khushi. Her roommate Ruchi, although, is quite sceptic of the situation and suggests her to call. Trapped huh! They find a way out and his roommate tells Khushi that he is not there. The illusion is well plastered with lies, until one day when the wall of illusion decided to collapse and Khushi calls with an unknown number and catches him in the act.

She is furious at this deception by Karan. Karan is equally sad and guilty of his act, not to forget he maintained the lie out of his fondness! The tension is built in the scene and a sense of curiosity is evoked. However, with a comical relief and with his roommate’s advice he finally convinces Khushi. The season ended with a phone call that leaves our curiosity lingering.

Now stop pondering about that phone call and watch season 2 to unravel the plot ahead. Adios!

Suhani ki shaadi

Look how things have changed and we finally have something called digital shows, did you ever think it was possible before the pandemic hit us? Guess not. Well since the trend is proliferating among the youngsters and Millenials, you should get aware of the best of shows that are about to blow your mind away.

One such show is “Suhani ki Shaadi” by magician and mentalist Suhani Shah and the storyteller Mehek Mirza Prabhu whose exhilarating skills of playing out real-life roles for Suhani’s life has gone viral.

This digital show has been specially designed for the people in their best comfort level and enjoy the power of magic and experience invigorating moments that will literally give you chills.

It wasn’t easy of course to create a show that depended so much on technical aspects and limitations. But the common passion that I shared with Suhani, of creating a never before seen kind of collaborative show, made this unrealistic vision a successful reality.

Mehak Mirza Prabhu

Buckle up because this show is definitely the one you have been waiting for all these days and it’s worth every penny. It will get streamed on zoom app. All you have to do is buy the tickets online and enjoy the show at their prospective time.

The curation of the show has been a lot of fun. Mehak and I would discuss for hours about characters, dialogues, magic effects and so much more. Yes, the entire show has been designed on calls. None of us met. There of course have been too many difficulties, especially technical, however, our focus always stayed on what we could do inspite the challenges. ‘Suhani Ki Shaadi’ started with a casual phone call and we are very proud of the results.

Suhani Shah

Get ready for laughter, action, suspense, and everything you wish for and to also have your mind read by the experts, TRUST ME! you don’t want to miss that. Here is the link to get your tickets for the show on Sunday, 7th June at 5 PM.
